Damask shirt in white, 18th century style
This is a dramatic and dressy shirt, in a silky cotton damask with a soft sheen, cut to a pattern used in the 18th century.
The floral design is woven into the cotton fabric – this weave makes the fabric drape fluidly on the body
Customers have called a Poet shirt, a Pirate shirt, a Dracula shirt and a Poldark shirt.
The neck is finished with a collar that can stand up or be folded down and fastened by one button.
This shirt is generously proportioned. It comes in three sizes:
- Medium measures 29″ across garment, 16″ around the neck, 32″ in back length, 29″ front length. This would suit a slim or shorter man.
