Washed sample – medium only – pale lemon linen shirt with broken check effect

I wash tested this sample garment on too hot wash, so it has shrunk slightly and lost some of the lemon colour.  But its still a lovely shirt – most people would not be aware of the fact its a little paler than it started.  This is a lesson to us all – wash linen gently and on a cool cycle!

The cloth is a soft lemon shade of Irish linen, woven by Baird McNutt.  We understand this cloth design to be a design sample – the weave includes a randomly coloured yarn, which gives the effect of a broken check.

The shirt has a narrow collar band and short front opening so it pulls on over the head.

Shirts have approx. 9” of looseness over and above the body measurement.
