This shirt is made from a undyed, unbleached Irish linen, which is grey/beige in colour and, when un-ironed, has the look of a rustic working-man’s shirt. The front and back are cut as a single rectangle, supported by gores at the side neck and underarm, with gathers at the wrists and sleeve head and with an internal yoke across the shoulders and gathers at the wrists and sleeve head.
The shirt pulls on over the head. The collar can be worn turned up or down. Loops on the front, with leather thong to lace up. Each cuff fastens with buttonholes on each side – we sew on a pair of wooden buttons but you can substitute ties or toggles for the buttons provided
