November News Update
As the end of the year approaches we are sending out orders before we go on our Christmas break.
We had another terrific weekend at the biggest re-enactment market TORM, where our new 18th century style garments were well received. We were also pleased to see our clothes appear in a Gentleman Jack feature for The Guardian, promoting tourism in our hometown of Halifax.
This month we’ve also enjoyed seeing photos of our customers across world – everyone from Welsh folk dancers to vintage lovers in Luxembourg.
Vintage Cloth Shirt
Our Peaky Blinders style blue and white shirt continues to be a bestseller. Currently we are using a beautiful true vintage cloth which was used for nurses uniforms in World War Two. Unfortunately this cloth will run out early next year and we will be replacing it with a similar but modern cloth.
If you’d like to buy this shirt made from our vintage cloth, please ensure you place an order before the end of December.
Last year we made the decision to stop stocking nightshirts and make room to expand our clothing range to trousers. However, we still recognise the value of a well-made nightshirt.
This winter we have two traditional style nightshirts available in high quality cloth that you will not find on the high street. Our nightshirts are designed to last, giving you breathable comfort for years to come.
As the weather gets colder, this is the ideal time of year to invest in a nightshirt
Last Posting Date
The last posting date for the UK is Friday 20th December. If you’re considering purchasing a gift for someone, we do accept returns and we can also do exchanges.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas from all of us at Elgar Shirts.
